File Rights
Copyrighted & trademarked designs
What we can and cannot print when a design belongs to someone else.
Last updated: September 30, 2026
We cannot print copyrighted or trademarked characters, logos, or other protected designs unless you own the rights or have permission from the rights holder.
This includes characters from companies such as Marvel, DC, Disney, Pokémon, Nintendo, and similar brands.
The U.S. Copyright Office states:
“The right to make a derivative work (or new version) is one of the exclusive rights of a copyright owner.”
The Copyright Office specifically identifies sculptures based on drawings as an example of derivative visual artwork.
If you're unsure whether we can print your design, contact us before placing your order.
See our Terms of Service for the full terms that apply to every order.
